Railroad Gone

You've heard about old Casey Jones and the wreck that spread his name
Although his life was on the line he couldn't miss that train

Well I'm a lot like Casey Jones though I don't share his fame
I've never run an engine, but I love'em just the same

Every time I hear that whistle blow
Its begging me to ride and, Lord, I can't say no
Its promising me places I just have to go
I'm railroad gone when I hear that whistle blow

Well I've always been a mover, I don't know if I can stop
But when I sleep my last I'll dream of one more train to hop
